A SPECIAL FILM NIGHT IN REMEMBRANCE OF ATATÜRK
An Evening of History, Courage, and Remembrance
Join us at the Atatürk Cultural House for a meaningful evening as we commemorate the life and enduring legacy of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Türkiye.
In honor of November 10, we invite you to a special screening of GELIBOLU, a powerful historical documentary by acclaimed Turkish filmmaker Tolga Örnek.
Through remarkable historical footage and compelling storytelling, the film brings to life the courage, determination, and extraordinary sacrifices of those who fought at Gallipoli, a defining chapter in Turkish history and in Atatürk's remarkable journey.
A Special Conversation with Director Tolga Örnek
Following the screening, guests will have the unique opportunity to engage in a conversation with Tolga Örnek, discuss the making of Gelibolu, hear his insights into the historical events portrayed in the film, and learn about his other filmmaking projects.
This special evening is an opportunity to come together as a community, reflect on our shared history, and introduce younger generations to the values of courage, unity, and remembrance.
